In addition, this retains mailbox data even after a user has deleted it, ensuring that you can discover messages for legal compliance cases. WebOnce the AD Object is removed and no longer synced to O365, the mailbox will be inactive. It will be in inactive state until the Hold is over. For my use case, the hold is coming from O365 Retention Hold and not litigation Hold.
