Just because the gun is on the same frame as the .357's doesn't mean you can shoot any ammo you wish. .38 Special +P is around 20,000 psi (standard .38 is 17,000 or so), the +P+ ammo have been tested from anywhere in the 25,000 to 30,000 range. Keep in mind that .357 Magnum is 35,000 psi.
